Aspiring for exploration, rejuvenation, & celebration Bhartiyans are all set to make the cream of the crop this summer vacation by exulting unabashedly in the summer coterie 2019-20 that is offering a thrilling world of activities to choose from, catering one’s personal taste & talent. Organized under the benevolent guidance of the management of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, an enthralling session of ten days commenced today with the serene Yog & meditation practice in the Hedgewar auditorium lending tranquility to the exhausted souls. ‘Adventure land’ created by Shishu Vatika offered a world of excitement to kindergarteners through a package of activities like Beam Balancing, Cross the Tunnel, Monkey Bites, Ice Cream Parlour, Find Your Way & Hip Hop. While Music Club will be enhancing the singing skills through vocal, devotional & instrumental music, Cookery Club will train the Bhartiyans in fireless cooking with punjabi tadka. Focus of Heritage club will be Bhangra, Giddha, Mehndi & Stitch Art. Artistic element will be groomed by Art & Craft Club through different painting techniques. Twirling toes will learn Classic, Semi Classical & Contemporary dance forms in dance workshop. Communication skills enhancement & Personality Grooming will be the charge of English ville. In Model Making Club, innovation & creativity will soar higher & higher chasing novel ideas to make models of various subjects. The bonus of the Summer Coterie is a sports training of Judo, Badminton, Football, Chess, Wrestling, Volleyball, Handball, Basketball, Dodge ball for boys & girls exclusively in the evening at BVM (USN & KN).
Special seminars for teachers will also be organized in these days. Today’s seminar ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) conducted by the guest resource person Dr. Puneet Kathuria equipped the felicitators to identify ADHD children & provide them an environment so that they can channelize their potentials in the best possible way by practicing time management, organizational skills and planning with the support of teachers.
Appreciating the zeal & response of the students and teachers in these workshops Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi motivated the participants to make maximum of their time in fun & learning.
